You will assist in the production of ophthalmic lenses, which includes degating, inspection, inking, and packaging. The facility runs 24/7 with 12-hour shifts in the manufacturing area. Schedules rotate with a work/life balance benefit. One week you work (3) nonconsecutive days and receive a (4) hour bonus. The following week you work (4) nonconsecutive days with 8 hours of guaranteed overtime.

In addition to the qualifications described under The Requirements tab, you need to know:
  • This position requires you to work in a clean room and on the production floor.
  • You will need to be comfortable with extensive sitting in the clean room and extensive standing on the production floor.
  • In the clean room, you will wear full personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Shifts offered are 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am, where you work 3 days on and 4 days off, then 4 days on and 3 days off.
More about your success
While we have established processes and procedures, we are also taking advantage of the new facility launch to drive improvements. This will include changing from manual to highly automated processes. We'll provide training, but change will be ongoing, and your own role may evolve. We're looking for adaptable and flexible people who can excel in a fast-paced production environment.
